Program Details Sing-A-Longs We get kids involved with recognizable songs for kids to sing along to ex. Itsy Bitsy Spider. This helps to work on their vocabulary development and work together as a group. This also helps to work on basic motor skills with small movements to each song. Songs like the Alphabet song and This old man help kids learn to count and learn their letters. Movement to Sound This portion of the classes focuses on motor skills (Ie. I'm a little teapot). They are easy songs for the children to remember with small dance moves to songs that help to improve rhythm and timing/coordination at the same time as having them up and moving and interacting. Introduction to Music through Instruments In these classes we work with egg shakers, rumble sticks, tambourines, triangles and maracas. Using the instruments to learn rhythm to a song. This helps to improv motor skills and coordination as well as teaching them how to concentrate on a task. Introduction to Piano Adventures and Theory (for advanced classes only) This introduces advanced students to piano in a fun and exciting way. We work on simple music theory in an easy way for young children to understand and relate to. We have step by step instructions and easy progression through each subject.
